Education Grad Named District 2 Teacher of the Year
Sylvia Tillerson Landrum ’03, ’06 was voted the Spartanburg District 2 Teacher of the Year. Landrum has been a Special Education teacher at Chesnee High School since 2009. Landrum graduated from Converse with a BA in Early Childhood Education and an MEd in Special Education.
In an interview Landrum said, “There is no career, that I can think of, that is as rewarding as teaching. It is rewarding for you and for the student.”
